It was an evening of glitz and glamour as comedy giants and captains of industry across media, entertainment, fashion and telecoms gathered for the first viewing of PO the stage play.
The event which held on Sunday August 3 at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island was opened by top comedians including Senator, Lafup, Baba K treating guests with hilarious punch lines as well as a poetic rendition by Glory the poet. Fast rising reggae artiste, Lamboghini thrilled guests with the performance of his hit track, Loverman.
PO the stage play, written by Femi Branch and directed by Obi Martins starred comedic duo and Wazobia FM OAPs, Nedu and Ogbolor in a two man satirical piece laced wit humor which left guests reelin with laughter from start to finish.
PO was produced by veteran broadcaster Steve Onu popularly known as Yaw and had notable guests including Kofi, Mudi, Ras Kimono, Do2dtun, Azuh Arinze, Mavin Act Korede Bello amongst many others in attendance.
“PO stage play was first acted by Kofi and I seven years ago,” commented Yaw while he commended the actors and crew for the exceptional performance and professionalism.
The stage play runs through all Sundays in August at Terra Kulture and will continue on Sunday August 10 by 3pm and 6pm respectively.
